Damage clothing logo.

Here is the logo I have created for my clothing website.
I used the messy typeface and added an accent to the A to
make it seem french as using french outlet clothing.

Finding Nemo.

I watched Finding Nemo for the 1st time this weekend and loved it.
I think the graphics used are amazing and reminded me of when
we created a fish in our 3D class i could see how they would have made
the fish in the movie while watching it .. (:

On the current unit I have now started on more final sketches for the website and
had a practise run of creating the layout in fire works. I also have my logo which
at the moment is just a messy sketchy typeface i may try and put a graphic with
it but not sure yet going to play about with it alittle more. (:

Update

I know have 16 research boards done and have started sketches for the site map and logo design.
Also this week I have made my cv and got my portfolio ready for my mock interview on 06/12/10.

New media / start of web design unit research.

Here is a image of a new cell phone by quicksilver that i found on the net.. on the site i found it there calling it the pacman phone haha.. it looks strange and uncomfortable to me but i would still like to see it and have a play about with it. :D

So far for the webdesign unit research i have 13 mood boards.. 12 of  which are on clothing. Going to do a few on new media its self and then some on web site layouts and colours that kind of thing. 

We also started using dream weaver this week which was fun.. good to be learning something new :D

Reminiscing..

I have just submitted the new media report where i did the second section of it on the history and development of gaming. Finding out about all the old games made me remember when i played my sega mega drive a fair but i also had these other wee consoles called Game and watch. I had a Mario one and a Snoopy one.. Thought i get some images up of these as although they would probly seem rubbish to children today i loved playing em for hours on end. : )

Old / New Media.

Here is some old and new media.  The sega mega drive is one of my favorite old medias as it had awesome games and i could play them for hours at the time i wouldnt of thought much on its apperance but now compared to the nintendo wii i think its very chunky and old looking. The wii is slim and comes in all colours and has many different controller designs also. I still have my sega mega drive although i dont think it works anymore. Although the graphics on the sega where nothing like today i still like them. The wii's graphics are also very nice. :D

Things i have created..

This is an anime charector i created in illustrator.
& a skull i created in illustrator then took into photoshop
and put a duo tone on it and used a cloud filter on it also.

Unit two, Digital Imaging.

This unit was really good i really enjoyed gaining more skills and experiance in photoshop.
I enjoyed doing the sketches for it as it was all up to me when it came to the design of my typeface.
i wanted it too look kinda creepy and messy and i think i managed that very well. i do prefer working in vector graphics.    Today is assesment day time to pass :D

Passed the 1st unit.

I enjoyed the 1st unit as i got to redesign my grans workplaces logo. Glad i passed.
For the next unit i have decided to do my book covers on Dracual and Frankenstein.
I have done research and have got some research boards made up.
I have gathered lots of images i can use for them and some might come in handy for other units.
I have decided on calling my publisher logo AG books. Using the same typeface i have drawn up for the book covers. I also have done my infographic on a time line of Stanley Kubricks movies focusing on A Clockwork Orange. Im working on the rough to final sketches of the books covers at the moment and look forward to creating them in photoshop :D

Almost assesment time ..

I have got more research done. We recived the Middlefiled Mirror this week which is a magazine designed by a person at Shmu.fm for the community linked through the Middlefield Community Project. It lets people know exactly what has been going on in the community. I have also got all my drawings done and have got most of the computer work done. I will complete it tomorrow during class time ready for assesment on monday. I have yet to get my peer review done but i will also get this done in class tomorrow. :D

This week..

I have got six pages of research which include for digital mood boards, a shock tactics page, an interview with the coordinator of The Middlefield Community Project Helen Graham. She told me more about how the charity side of things work and told what she would like to see change with the logo and what she wanted to see about the logo staying. She also said that due to lack of funding that she could not promise me anything but would like to see the finished product. Also from the project i got some leaflets for research and some photos to use within my website design. I have almost got my finished logo and i have done sketches of my stationary set. I plan to get the rest of my sketches done over the weekend for monday. :)

Our 1st brief. Charity Logo.

We have been given a brief to re-design the logo for a charity of our choice. We also have to create a sationary set along for it and a template of what the website would look like with an advertisment within the website about the charity.  I have choose to do Middlefield Community Project as my gran works there and i managed to get good research from meeting with her boss. She also gave me an idea of what she would like to see happen with the logo and said that no promise's as to it being used due to lack of funding but would be nice if that did happen. So far i am still finishing of my research and going to start sketching and will hopefully have my logo ready by next monday and be able to start creating it on the computer software. I am enjoying this unit so far. :)

Back to college.

On the first day back to college we were given a surprise one day brief to work on.  It was to make a poster for a music festival called Anti-Design which would then by entered into a compition to be used at the festival. The brief was by Neville Brody. We were given the words Apathy and Anarchy to base the design of the poster on. My design was black and white and showed Pacman leveling up from apathy to anarchy and eating a design school. It was very fun to create. :D
